I thought his neck was much further north - Coles Bay / Freycinet?
I think @drron meant Port Sorell, which I guess is as far north of @RooFlyer as Sorell is south.

(As JohnM is away, seemingly taking part in a strange life and death rendezvous in South America, I am forced to post some photos of Perfect Perth - actually showers are predicted for tomorrow but today has been lovely.)

Perth CBD from Bayswater - about 7 - 8 km upriver. Garratt Road Bridge in the foreground. There is a lovely riverside park and Bird Sanctuary here. The river is still brackish up too here.



Some Red-Tailed Black coughatoos - who refused to spread their tails. They were about 15 metres up a gum tree.



An old brickworks clay pit has been turned into some lovely wetlands. Swans, ducks, water hens etc love it here.
