So... what car do you guys drive when not flying?

We never did a Commodore car nor computer. Our love affair with Toyota started with a Celica in the seventies. It was about a year old and the sellers name was Dick Flick....never forgot his name.....
Need to do a good bike ride to burn off the chocolate......tomorrow as I don’t have lights.

Oh, God. Don't start my husband about the Celica and how he rebuilt her. Please don't...

the Celica was my dream car. I imagined if I could somehow own one of those I would suddenly be a hot chick and all my problems solved. Never got the car and never became a hot chick. Oh the fantasies of youth.
My brother had great taste in cars. He bought a brand new yellow Celica when it was first released. And a British green Leyland Mini. Also brand new. He had a great time in his twenties.

A lot of my dreaming time as a youngster revolved around fast and flash wheels.
Now I can buy whatever I want (within reason) , I have no desire at all….
Hubby wanted a Jag for the 3+ weeks we toured Scotland and after being a passenger in it all that time, it needs to come with a 20yr girlfriend because I didnt like it at all plus I think Jag is nickle & diming its customers now.

I also liked the old escort cars. BTW, if you're going to google Escorts, add the word Car to the search first ☺

Was teasing hubby with hiring a Datsun when in SAfrica. Maybe next year...
I always wanted a Trabant! Made of cardboard. :) (Great movies of the 80's Go Trabbi Go and Go Trabbi GBo II. -:) )
