Qantas will still let you change your travel date without paying a change fee if, in the week leading up to your flight, you or someone else in your travelling party is legally required to isolate due to getting COVID-19 or being a close contact. However, you would need to call Qantas to make the change.

This is so dumb. Unless they're doing strenuous verification of people's eligibility over the phone (which they definitely are not), this is just putting more strain on their call centres for zero reason.
 
But in many states you don't have to isolate even if you are a HH contact - just wear a mask....?
