SQ Tips, Trips and Tales

Out of curiosity, can one enter the TPR as a guest of a passenger in SQ F?

eg. If my wife is flying F and I am flying J on the same SQ flight could I enter TPR?

(We are both in F for our July flight but wanted to know what happened in this scenario)

Nope - access to TPR restricted to SQ R and F BP holders only
Genuinely didn’t know that. Thanks, MIL and SIL will have to do with SKL F. I would’ve made a fool of us all.

SYD-SIN-PVG in F, July. Do they do pyjamas on the 5 hr SIN-PVG? Unnecessary I’d say surely, especially given 08:30 departure. Wonder about the way back too. Would be nice to bag a couple of the new ones.

PJs and amenity kits are officially available on flights over 5 hours. SIN-PVG is blocked at 5.05.

That means a ‘yes’.

You can check out the amenities available in your flight here: Singapore Airlines - In-flight Menu

While the actual menus are only available 7 days out, you can select a date in the next week to see an example menu and all the drinks and amenities.
Thanks. I’d never come across that! Our RM usually confirms all of that. You can even download a PDF 🥳

Spent more than an hour today online and phone changing F bookings with a resultant $8 increase in taxes (failed payment of which took extra time..). I know there aren’t many F or suite seats out there, but getting 2 of them on 2 flts not unreasonably far apart over a 10 day spread 3 months ahead was actually quite hard. So it seems the the world is still spending big..

We finished up, to avoid a long layover in Sin, deciding to come up from HBA in the evening to be ready for 11am 232 next day, fthen 322 to LHR with only 5 hrs of TPR time. Could hv tried a 6am to Mel and up to Syd from there but we don’t like sweating on delays that early in the day…

I think they swapped the champagnes, the legs that had Krug now have Cristal and vice versa.

Keen to see the TPR menu as the list from a previous post was really bad since I was there in July 2024.

Beef and Ale Pie in R/F? Seriously? I am not going to the footy am I?

And The Bogan in R or F? Not worthy of a J cabin let alone R / F - more feedback coming SQ
I can highly recommend the 2006 Chateau Leoville Poyferre

How is the service in F with the seat belt sign thingy? In business it’s pretty bad… limited service for most of the flights recently, despite smooth flying.

R / F service perfect as always

Not my experience
Whole separate thread on this… the ‘new’ seat belt protocols mean limited service, if any at all these days for large parts of the flights. Others chimed in that this had been their experience of late as well.

Flying business these days you need to request a hot drink on overnight flights at least 90 mins before landing to ensure you get it :(

I wondered if that had carried over into F as well.

Our DXB-SIN… perfectly smooth, only had a service time of 4 hours out of 6.5 flight time. Captain kept the seatbelt sign on until cruising altitude… 28 mins after takeoff, with perfect flying conditions.
