~ $350 when I used mine last (KF) but it was in school holidays when these flights are not available (twice the price actually). But still a very good deal and indeed the flights that take you even further more, e.g. Cambodia $550, Vietnam/Thailand/Phillipines $590. would seem to be exceptional value. Usually hard to get under $1K.

Just booked and paid for an open jaw one SYD - KL - Hanoi and SGN-KL-SYD with MH, Feb 2012 - $602!! Yay!

Booking is easy if you check what dates the fare is applicable for using IATA matrix software and then booking direct on the MH site

The only annoying thing is that I can't get one-way fares with this sale. A one-way ticket is more expensive than a return ticket! That is so strange... They could've at least made one-way tickets about 75% of the return sale fare.

I was going to book a QF classic award ADL-SIN-ADL and buy an LCC flight to BKK but the +++ alone on the QF award flights was over $400 :shock:
This will cost about the same $$ but I still have my QFF points.

This special is only for flights originating from Australia. MAS had a huge sale for flights originating from Malaysia a week or two ago and the fares were even cheaper than the ones coming out from Australia now! You obviously missed it...

Yes. Having problems doing the stop-over option too. The MAS IT department are completely hopeless! Your best bet is to ring up and book the ticket with a request for a stop-over. Check the conditions of the sale though just in case a stop-over is not allowed on these tickets...

Not sure if MH have that deal in that direction. But I do know that Emirates have some cheap deals at the moment from SIN to MEL or BNE for about SG$700. I have a friend that just booked one and got return SIN to BNE for SG$664 when combined with a tie in with credit card.

So combined with a LCC for KL to SIN it would still be quite cheap.
