Later in the year we are flying to London through Tokyo. Qantas economy from Brisbane to Tokyo via Sydney then BA WP+ and CW Tokyo-Heathrow. BA have sent us advice that business luggage limit applies for both legs of our points flights but what will apply to our Q flights? I have 30kg as QC, and we are light travellers in any case, but just in case we go crazy while we're away

cheers

I always find it helps being a couple, more ability to spread the load allowance

If it doesn't matter if you win or lose.......How come they keep score?

The rules of the Most Significant Carrier apply. In this case for the person doing the WT+ that limit applies and for the CW pax the 3pieces at 23kg applies (sorry only know that one by hard)
(this is offcourse assuming that the whole trip is on the same ticket)

MSC only applies if it is on the same journey, same days etc etc. ie MEL-HKG(QF)-LHR(BA).

Thanks ozmille and TheInsider

Thought it wouldn't apply but it was worth asking.

Our passenger info sent by BA shows the CW luggage (three 23kg pieces - just who needs three x 23kg bags???) limits apply for both flights for both of us.

As the points flights are just for NRT-LHR-NRT, the BNE-NRT-BNE are seperate tickets. Going there's less four hours between flights at NRT but coming back we are overnighting in Tokyo before flying back next day.

thanks again
