We fluked an upgrade of aircraft from Singapore to London (and back) and so our trip changed to an SQ A380 Suites class from First on the 777.
Now that we are back in Australia we looked up the price to go SQ Suites each way and we were surprised that it is only about $5,000 Australian dollars each way per person off the SQ website.
When you consider the comfort and privacy and wow factor I would suggest this should be on more peoples Bucket List.
There are 10 Suites I think and on the way over there were three on board and on the way back it was just the two of us.
We were allowed to use two suites each for the 13 hour flight....one for dining and watching movies and the other was made up for sleeping.
Let me assure you we felt like we had rented the Suites section of the A380 for a bit over half a day and the experience would have been hard to beat.
Mrscove was really impressed too and she doesn't do the caviar, champagne nor the French red wines.
Put this on your Bucket List!
