Like everything else, depends on the day and the staff I guess. If some PITA is in Row 4 or 23 you probably don't want them sitting next to you anyway.

Youre quite right, I only ever travel next to leavened bread :p

Simple, tell them they must wait for a wheelchair to collect them at the other end, if they leave, then black mark them banning them from selecting a wheelchair

That's the key really isn't it. If they abuse the concept of needing a seat through disability then they should also have to be the last to deboard. I do feel sorry for genuine passengers when others abuse this just to get a better seat. There must be consequences for their abuse or they'll keep on doing it.

Yes wait until the church hears about this!
