US Dividend Miles - post your SUCCESSFUL award bookings here.

That's great work! Just double check the ticket has been reissued using the saudi website and that you travel classes are correct. I had a recent one with changes and even thought the segments had changed they hadn't reissued the ticket.

Thanks travelislife - Saudi website? I must have missed the post on here, are you able to share the details?

Sorry should have provide the link, Flashware jumped in there, thanks. Make sure you attempt to use just the E-ticket bit of the site as the Booking reference bit won't work. Anyway using the ticket number from your US Airways reservation (you can get this by going to Manage My Reservation on the US Airways site) enter 037 in the first box and the rest of the numbers in the next box.

Once it brings your itinerary up check that every segment says 'Paid' under status and that the classes are correct, I for Business and O for first.

Thanks very much Flashware and travelislife.

Got the receipt from Us Airways with the new ticket numbers and checked this against the saudi sight. It shows all the flights as Paid and all classes have been updated - 3 in O and 1 in I (ICN-BKK). Looks like we're all good to go and I just have to get the seats sorted on TG and we're done. Thanks again for your help on double checking that the ticket has been re-issued. Really appreciate it.

Everyone flying UA F should prepare themselves. Expect the worst and you might be pleasantly surprised (that's about as good as it gets). The seat however is excellent and for a basic bite to eat (and I mean basic), a movie or two, and some solid sleep, UA is indistinguishable from the major players.

Great! So is the crux of all that you managed to get the class changes without paying any fees? Is so great work as that seems to have dried up a lot over the last few years.

Not entirely true........ I'd ring each carrier and check they have the new ticket against each booking (or check online, I know you can with United). I had all the above happen but LH & TK didn't have the new e-Ticket number and until I spoke to them it wasn't all confirmed and updated. YMMV!

Looks like it travelislife. I really wanted to upgrade our Y ICN-BKK flight to J but was told I had to reticket the whole itin which I was uncomfortable doing, this was about a month or so ago. Then when I saw F availability on our outbound SYD-LAX I just wanted to try to see if they could upgrade that leg only.

Lady on the phone was extremely helpful and said she could do both and yes apparently no charge (can't see any amounts deducted from the cc either - from the available balance).

There is no charge as long as its on the same flight and the higher class is the original booking class.

Thx Flashware - Will ring each individually and will confirm with them directly. I've checked online with United, TG and Asiana and they've all updated as expected but will do the due diligence required to confirm.

That's when I'm in for a game of US Airways agent roulette...

that may be so. But the fact remains that the $150 is standard, which differs from the rules in the past... pax should not expect to have a change of class go through FOC.

I just got off the phone from USDM and have now re-booked my tickets. After getting so close to booking completion last Friday and having our telephone call disconnect as I was providing our passport details, it took around 3.75days for the same seats to be re-released back into the award inventory pool.

My confirmed routing is a simple SYD-xBKK-LHR//SPU-xFRA-xBKK-SYD with 20hrs, 22hr and 13hr transits in BKK, FRA, BKK respectively. Taxes were $157.xx plus $50 booking fee.

Glad to hear it all turned out ok in the end!

was it a skype fall out or operator disconnect?

I use a calling card (less than a cent a minute to the usa) and never had a disconnect thankfully!

Thanks. I was after specific flights as I have two friends who are flying on the same sectors in the same F cabin - yes we (4) are all flying on USDM :D

I was using a "Hello" branded calling card and I believe it was the culprit for our disconnect. In the middle of a conversation it appeared to have "resetted" and the automated voice asked me to "pin code" etc.
