After successful dinners in Auckland and Wellington, it's time to head to the South Island and support the Christchurch economy as they continue to recover from the earthquakes. JessicaTam and I are investigating restaurants and will advise in due course, but now is the time to lock in Saturday 11 March, 2017.

Edit: Please note that this dinner takes quite a bit of effort to organise, and indeed some effort just to get to. So please take the time to dress up a bit for the occasion. Whilst lounge suit/coughtail dress is preferred, at the very least 'smart casual'. Thanks, JT & BC

Would love to attend one of these events but too early to call.

Platinum with a tinge of Gold or should that be Gold with a tinge of Silver?

Definitely interested

Already booked to PTY (J/F all the way, thanks to USair DM & Alicia) that week, it's a public holiday in Victoria.

I do suggest connecting with chchkiwi. Many via FT/AFF have found them to be the mostest hostess.

They have provided great contemporary on site guidance.

Copper (and in my calendar)

We went with the long weekend as we hoped it might encourage more people to make the trip compared with Wellington this year.

No issues with CHC; TomVexille is a former local.

+1

chchkiwi is an excellent local host, and I am sure she would attend if it suits her schedule.

Would've liked to visit CHC, but will be in LOTFAP topping up SCs with a SR to maintain WP having earned DSCs trans-Pacifically.

I will check with "Her Indoors" we love CHC. We may look at driving on to ZQN for a few days and then Jet* back to AKL to see mum and home.

And SA, TAS and the ACT if you want to be correct

Spring break for many unis here in LOTFAP, clearly you're trying to get more Americans too :D.

For reference, this is on my list but I have zero idea how I'd get down to NZ at this moment. Still a lot of time between now and then though :).
