To celebrate cheap JQ35 fares with Tiger back, there will be a Champagne appreciation event in Sydney on Aug 27 with a few AFF members flying JQ35 at the F lounge, or perhaps a wake given its three days after Aug 24 . $53 price beat with Tiger at the moment.

Tempting, but the cheapest Tiger fares are only $20 or so less than JQ35 anyway. If they had their $39/49 fares, i'd be there but I can't really justify $200 odd for a few hours at the moment (damn GFC 2.oh)

Pity MEL-SYD has not got the same tiger specials to price match with on the day, given what we now know re checkin its possible to do both MEL and SYD F lounges using JQ services that day, I wonder if anyone at the transfer point has seen a D sticker presented before .
