Location for AFF Gathering #7

Well, been a while and no more suggestion. What say we move onto polling?

Following a 3 week gap in posting and exactly 4 weeks on from AFF Gathering #6 on the Gold Coast, the time has come for you to make a selection for AFF Gathering #7.

Presumably we have someone from each city/location who is able to assist in organisation if need be.

One choice will be allowed per member, with your choice visible to others.

For the record, I picked Hobart.

I would have thought some time similar to this year, but perhaps suggest away, and we can work out some sort of polling. The poll can give us a ten week or so time span, but I would suggest after the grand finals are out of the way....

There was plenty of time to offer suggestions on the thread that solicited ideas on the next location.

(Even if Sale and Perth were left off )

Voted for HBA. Hopefully the DJ lounge will be operational before AFF7, but somehow I doubt it!

Voted for HBA also . If we are looking at a similar date for AFF7 as was AFF6 , which was October , you would expect that the DJ Lounge in Hobart would be open by then , considering the media release announcing the lounge was back in March this year.

Once we have the location, that may dictate the date to a certain extent. E.g. The Mildura country music festival is in late Sept early Oct and there would be not a bed to be found.

I think end of October works for most people and also need to remember that a lot of people book holidays 12 months in advance. So if a July date was chosen at this late stage that may mean some regulars miss out. Not that it is the end of the world but need to have some consistency with dates.
