MEL dinner & drinks - Wednesday 5 JUNE 2013 (boxo reprise)

Howdy folks,

I was struggling to pick a date for drinks in June as my calendar is a bit of a mess currently. I have numerours proposed trips which don't have confirmed dates as yet.

However FlyerTalk user boxo will be in Melbourne on Wednesday 5 June, so at the suggestion of Bundy Bear and others via PM, I suggest we might [-]gate crash[/-] join up with the Flyertalk do, given the groups of people will probably be 70-80% the same.

The job of hearding cats across 2 forums is going to be... "fun". Lets see how this goes.

Details for this do have been now confrimed.

This dinner is the second of two events being organised by FT user boxo in Melbourne.

"I'd prefer The Long Room for selfish reasons - the other option Trunk is across the street from my office and I don't need a reminder that they made me redundant (unless I've found a high flying job by then)..."

As I will be in the Etihad First Lounge in Abu Dhabi on the 5th, I am a scratching. :mrgreen:

P.S. A week either side would be OK, though.

Yep. They will cancel the outgoing flight then there will be no need for the return.

Following a post by boxo on FT, we now have confirmed dates and venues for 2 dinner dos in Melbourne in late May and early June.

I have now created a second thread for the other do. Please review which date(s) suit you and confirm / re-confirm your attendance.
