The principle is that Qantas has created a LCC off-shoot and started replacing routes to this LCC where the rules are different, the off-shoot has no idea about customer service and takes no responsibility for the service they provide.

And when something goes wrong Qantas wipes their hands clean and has nothing to do with Jetstar.

I intend to but the number of places I've been to that are "YES WE ACCOMMODATE!" on the phone and when you arrive they offer you a salad is uncountable
