Unoffical Wake for WP Anytime Access, Jan 29 2011

Given the changes I propose a wake at your nearest QP to be held on Sat Jan29 as we say goodbye to anytime QP access for WP's"! I am Platinum for BNE with two guest spots available!

Complaining (or expressing outrage/disappointment) online is one thing, protesting the change (at QF's cost) just seems to be the ideal form of passive resistance that would make Leo Tolstoy, Mohandas Gandhi, Andrei Sakharov, Martin Luther King, Jr, Václav Havel, and Lech Wałęsa proud (I think) .http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lech_Wałęsa

markis10, I was wondering whether you were going to do a Master Thread (and control all through updating your first post with attendees) or have separate threads for all the different airports (BNE, SYD, CBR, MEL, ADL, PER etc). Given the likely complexity of having a master thread, do you want to create ones for the others and we Moderators can transfer the posts here to the different threads?

I'm likely to be at the BNE one and as a humble SG, will need to be your guest

The funniest part is that the resources required as part of providing anytime access is far less than qf would lose on the revenue of just 1, one way red e deal- let alone the 6 you're suggesting..!

I think we need to go with the easy option, different thread for each state at this stage. I must say its tempting to look at a weekend of events coupled with a run, Breakie in Mel, Morning T in CBR, Lunch in SYD, Afternoon in BNE before heading to PER for a Sunday Brunch followed up by ADL lunch.........

I think karma in this case would probably make DJ’s IT go down on that day, so I wouldn’t

I don't think it is something that will be reinstated regardless, purely from an embarassment perspective! To announce something big then later take it back would surely leave them with egg on their face. I think if anything it may go back to being something is published as not happening, but unpublished... other things may happen if you get my drift
