Count me in (almost definitely, unless I'm freezing my butt off in Oslo, which is a slight possibility). Will also have to organise for a drop off and pick up, if I'm doing this then I definitely won't be in a state to drive home :shock:

Looking at the following schedule.

Jan 29 BNE-SYD on DJ The 9:00am departure.
Jan 29 SYD-MEL on JQ for the F Lounge
Jan 29 MEL-BNE on DJ the 8:00pm departure(time for a few drinks

Just getting to and from the airport is going to be the expensive part.

But that is not using the Anytime Access before the rule changes on 1 February 2011.

JohnK, yes I am kind of cheating with the JQi fare but if I will be in the dom QP before midday, I think that should count for the anytime access 'wake' Also will anytime access in MEL and likely fly back with DJ

Flying down on Virgin and then visit the lounge in that terminal, then walking to the Qantas terminal then catching the 12:00pm shuttle over to international, then to the First lounge for a few drinks and then Melbourne to the Qantas lounge for some more drinks and dinner then back to the Virgin terminal to fly home.

A bit of walking, drinking and flying is planned for that day.

Brisbane-Sydney-Melbourne covered all in 1 day.

Should I fly BNE-CBR-ADL-BNE for the next day 30 January.

I'm happy to be allocated any seat (OK not a middle, but I can't believe these flights are full! I suspect the average traveller avoids flights from the international terminal like the plague) for this short flight....not willling to cough up for these stupid extra charges:evil:

I booked but didn't allocate a seat - was too cheap to pay $3.00 :shock:

Anyway, I'm likely to return on DJ later that evening, thinking of the 2nd last flight of the night but may stay overnight.

I've never paid the seat selection ransom ... and always managed to snag an exit row during online check-in

ok so im going to be on JQ35 out of Sydney Int on the Jan 29th so happy to hang in the F lounge then move over to the Melbourne J lounge on arrival for the unofficial wake there!

Look forward to seeing anyone else there that afternoon/night
