Hi,
I'm having problems searching for flights from DJ's home page. I keep getting an "oops your session has timed out" error. It's happening with both Firefox and Chrome.
Anyone else having the same problem?
Thanks!

Hi,

I phoned the contact centre before 9am.Its been down since before 0800 today. They indicated it would be back by 9-9:30 but still not back.As its their whole res system ,3rd party websites like Flightcentre are not displaying any DJ flights in the searches also.
They seem to be having more than a few hickups since they upgraded to the new and improved system.

News on ABC is that Virgin Blue system is down, also affecting check in on flights.

Phew, while I'm glad it's not some glitch in just my computer  I'm saddened cos I wanted to see and book some flights :(

Just heading to SYD... Apparently people are sprinting to QF counters to get on alternative flights... Probably those on refundables I'd guess... Grr was hoping for a nice quiet QF terminal!!

Well, if it's any consolation, at least today is the weekend, not say, Monday or Friday.

I suppose it'll be manual check-ins all the way today. Lots of paper and pens all about...

Actually the next two Mondays are public holidays in CBR so that may ease things for tomorrow if the problem still exists.

I expect post the AFL GF part 1 there are many trying to get home not pleased at the delay

System wide down at VB. From what I can see on the departures/arrivals board inside the lounge at CBR, every flight for the rest of today is affected (delayed) and some have been cancelled.

FYI - my 12.30pm CBR to Syd flight was rescheduled for 12:55 departure and is now rescheduled again for 13:45 departure. Not looking good.

Did ask the counter staff for discounted entry to the lounge - no luck there, oh well lol.

Just drove past the budget terminal in SYD. DJ check in lines are ou the door, onto the pavement and spilling down the road.

Feel really sorry for the PAX, lots of school holiday travelers...

Checking in at QF and the sales desk is predictably swamped cash registers ringing....

Selfishly hoping they oversell my QF flight and I get a op up :p

Goodluck to anyone flying DJ though :(

Syd and MEL airport sites indicate on time departures after 1300...seems optimistic although a number of 10am departures ex MEL are showing "final call" so they are getting away >the only ones happy about this will be the Bars, foodcourts and those who give up and go QF.

At what point do ppl think it would be reasonable for affected pax to ask for additional benefits/compensation, if at all possible? And what would you ask for?

given that you have to pay for everything onboard anyway,i wouldnt expect a voucher for a cuppa and sandwich until 3hrs. Unless you had to go you may as well just ring the call centre and get them to rebook tomorrow and go home just to get away from the angst you cant control anyway

Guy next to me in QF Syd lounge just escaped carnage at the Budget terminal.

Said it's chaos, they keep on making PA announcements which are inaudible which are confusing pax further.

Said he went over to JQ sales, lines were huge so hoofed it over to T3 whilst calling QF. They ticketed him on a flight but a lot of the QF flights were busy to begin with and are now filling up... He has a bit of a wait but better than what he was facing before!
