We used to have SFO-LAS but that's been diluted in recent times. I've found a very similar status run which some may already know about, but in true AFF style it wouldn't be any fun unless there was a riddle to work out! So to keep it simple, two Queens both got their Hare in a knot.

A couple of variations in the routing permutations available, best on offer is 150 SCs for $320 inc.

Not sure I've solved all of the riddle but going on the Queen theme mixed in with a Christmas classic can get 300 SC on a day return for $640.
Am I close ? ;)

Think you might have it, Princess Fiona! Not too difficult then eh.

Must be some decent competition in First on that route for AA to offer at this price.

Thanks for posting goldmember :) I am very new to this game. I am going to LOTFAP in June and hoping to fit in an inaugural YUPP, something simple as a newbie and this fits the bill, no hotel costs either, happy days

Sometimes you can even find a KUPP destination that has an IHG 5,000 points break offer like in SDQ. You may not have to pay for the room but your credit card can get quite a work out for the food and beverage bill!

Hmm, guess I'm not so good at this. The places I think the riddle refers to are coming out at $325 for 90 SCs. :(

Why fly direct when you can connect for an extra 60 ?

I'm still paying for using that quote within earshot of SWMBO.....;)

PS - After searching around a bit - this is definitely the best little earner that I can find at the moment..........

Might have to try it out ;)

Hmm..with all my travel I'll be on approx 900SCs going into my final membership month...with a trip to the US and potentially a day to spare. Tempting!!

pls pls pls!!!!- I've looked everywhere on AA to try and get this combo, but just can't. What routings can I do to achieve this?

Tried getting my head around the riddle but I never was much good at the cryptic crosswords. However, despite that I've managed to find a nice little earner...AUD $1,068 for 720SCs. In my calculations that comes in at about $1.48 per SC.

OK Goldmember maybe I'm not so thick afterall as that is where I was leaning originally.

Could AUD $675 inc. for 300 SC be close to it?

Even if it's not, you have a nice fare.

OK...here goes...like I said I'm no good with the cryptic crosswords...

"Start in West to get with North in the South"

I'll drop some more clues later if it is too cryptic.

This is more of a lazy trip with some stopovers required, but still pretty good value I think.

BTW...this is referring to the trip I mentioned in post #12.

After ending up in HNL at the end of our KUPP run we did a QF JASA fare HNL/SYD/BNE & earned 180SC for that 140+40.

Did a non-stop flight DFW/HNL (180SC) on a B767 which was like an intl AA flight in F as we got a silver quilt & pillow to use in their version of a skybed. Any domestic AA flight in F you just get a red blanket but still get the skybed.

We stayed in DFW for 1 night at the Staybridge Suites DFW Airport North, 2220 Market Place Blvd, Irving TX 75063 & I was really impressed with this property. I mainly chose it because it belongs to the IHG group of hotels & we needed to stay in 4 brands for their current promotion. They have a free return airport shuttle bus (prior to a 2200 arrival) & the rate includes a buffet breakfast - they even have a waffle machine.

We got upgraded to a king suite & as SO is a IHG Priority Club Plat member & they let you grab some bottled water & a chocolate bar to take with you.

Think east coast between two major cities ;)

ok i give up. I'm v new to this, so for the sake of sanity, pls tell me what me what routing this is - to achieve 150 SCs for only $300.

tried working the riddle, does Queens have something to do with LGA? Hare---ORD??? in a knot----- LAS??? maybe LGA-ORD-LAS?

Got a trip to the US coming up, and would love to do this to maybe twice go from NB to SG!
