Just got this email at 10am BNE time and spent the last hour completing it:

Dear Lindsay

Got a spare 10 minutes? You could grab a coffee, send an email or you could enter the draw to
win* 1 of 5 international return Qantas economy flights for you and a friend to your choice of either Los Angeles, London or Hong Kong. And if this isn't enough of a prize, we'll also give you $AUD5,000 spending money to help you enjoy every second of your trip.

Over the years our program has grown and evolved, and with it our members have too. We understand that everyone is different and that there are different ways to use the program. That's why we'd like to find out more about you, so we can shape the program and try to make our communications more relevant.

Simply complete the online survey [link deleted]
and you might find yourself packing your bags and jet-setting across the globe

Well just spent the last hour (on and off) completing it - that was a very interesting survey. This time I actually saved the questions and my answers.

Not always able to answer the questions the way they were asked.

Anybody else received and answered it?

Yep, received it a couple of days ago. Completed it in the early hours of this morning. The joys of jet lag!

Got it yesterday somewhere, well completed it yesterday anyways. It says 10 minutes but took a bit longer IMHO

Yes, just completed it. Will be interesting to see the results and where it leads to.

It got a bit personal, but at least there was a 'not prepared to answer' option.
QF really don't need to know who I bank with and how many times a week I grocery shop.

Prize is only economy, but from the look of the value its full fare. With a $5k cash component, upgrades should be affordable.

Also received here, and completed more or less accurately; I'm not sure how much I would want the prizes, but I could probably gift them to someone else...

Agreed, however they know most of that information anyway from the transactions (or lack thereof) through our QFF accounts. If, however, they can forge new relationships that benefit us (and them), well I'm all for that.

I was thinking the same thing when I reviewed the T&C's:
The maximum total prize value is $56,973.00 based on the recommended retail value as at 28 October 2011.

LHR or LAX (being the most expensive of the 3 destinations), 2 tickets in Y, including $5K spending money - wow, that is an expensive fare bucket. Seemed more J pricing to me...still, whether I'd be able to use - I'm sure I'd find a way.

$56,973

There are five prize packages for two people. So take out the $25K spending money and that leaves $31K or $3.1K per ticket - not J pricing.

Qantas didn't think I was that important.

Received the email at 12:00pm according to the time stamp.

Might complete it tonight.

Yesterday for me & today for SWMBO.....just waiting on two more for the kids;)

Got one for me on Tuesday, and completed on Tuesday. Little Miss 5 hasn't received one (hmm, not sure what her profile says about filling out questionnaires?)

Just completed the survey.

I don't feel they are giving the right choice of answers for flying based questions.
For example "We would like to know about airline selection" lists a few obvious choices that my 5 year old niece could think up. The real answers are the things that *ACTUALLY* matter, like: attentiveness and/or grumpiness level of crew, recognition of status (and benefits) and boarding/de-boarding times.

Also I get the feeling the questions are designed to help them find more partners, eg: a clone of the velocity shopandearn.com.au

I'm glad QF realise they need to improve and are taking steps to do so :)

If this survey has been doing the rounds since the beginning of last month, I wonder what the criteria was for who got it when? And, why so many on AFF are only just getting it now/last week?

I didn't get the survey at all.

And typically in the past, competition prizes have been non-upgradeable.
