Just wanted to let you know that Red Roo will be offline between 12 – 28 February 2016 (inclusive) while we refresh the team.

Apologies in advance for any inconvenience, however please continue using the dedicated Qantas customer service channels for assistance.

Don't have too much fun with out me... ;)

If I read between the lines correctly.... the Red Roo we know is being enhanced away and replaced with another version?
And the existing Red Roo may join us under another handle? #speculation
 
I just hope that "our" Red Roo's enhancement is to their pay packet :D

Let's just hope that the "refreshening" (refreshment doesn't sound right) doesn't result in team Red Roo's working conditions being Simpler & Fairer

I should imagine Qantas management has taken their whole social media team offline to pick their brains on what favourable changes they should make to QF and QFF program. Good thing there is a thread on this full of good ideas they can implement ;).

I seriously doubt that. They would have to continue to engage via Twitter and Facebook. The concept of companies taking extended leave on there doesn't exist AFAIK.
Forum/community sites yes but not the others.

The thought of a whole team of Red Roos (or is that Reds Roos?) is either heartwarming or terrifying. Will the real Red Roo please stand up?

I will miss you Red Roo.. :( and You are the one that provides entertainment and fun here and we want you back soon!! By what you are saying.. my feel is there may be more of you out there!! :p

Care to elaborate on the refreshing your team will be doing? Some Simpler & Fairer panic stations have been activated.
