I think this might be dependent on the origin/destination. If you book ex-AU, you have the option of multiple currencies. Whereas ex-TPE/CGK you don't. Normally the currency selection is under fare summary: Ex-CGK Ex-SYD

How is the experience/transfer times?

I had a play around, it seems like ex-CGK or ex-TPE, don't have that option. Shame.
