Called up at about 3pm today to request a reward seat release for a simple domestic trip. Call answered after 15 minutes by Hobart, interaction was very pleasant and efficient. Request approved and payment of points + taxes/fees completed within about 5 minutes all up.

Yes I actually really miss Jetstar Pacific/BL for this reason - the Max Bundles were cheap and great status credit earners and the actual product was good due to the inclusions of the bundle. They were a great airline for getting around Vietnam domestically especially if you were aligned to QFF.

Yeah it’s weird - reward seat releases (“on request”) have always shown up in the app but not MMB. The complimentary lounge invite page will show unticketed PNRs as a workaround as long as you have at least one invite available and the flights aren’t on partner airlines.

For the "My Bookings" page in QF MMB, unfortunately this was recently "enhanced" to only show bookings that have been ticketed which makes it harder to find the PNR for dummy bookings now. So long as the PNR hasn't already been auto cancelled, the call centre would be able to locate it and...
