Butter chicken on my evening flight from SYD to BNE. Very tasty and went down well with a G&T. It was so funny. Got my order taken first (I was in 1A) and the next 3 (1C, 1D and 1F) thought it sounded good and went with the same order!

It's also a bit of a zoo here in SYD...

It's now been 7 weeks since I took those flights and still nothing. I wrote to them 2 weeks ago to chase it up and they said they're still investigating. Surely it can't be that difficult!

Totally agree with you, RooFlyer. I book what's best for me. Despite my WP status with QF and VA, I've decided to fly MU (in J) to Madrid next year because I'm only paying 2/3 of what the others are charging!

Contacted KF again 2 weeks after my last communication with them and they're still investigating the retro claim. Have others had such difficulty in this situation? You'd think it would be reasonably easy to sort this out!

Well, on JQ's A320, it's Row 1. Used to sit there most of the time but now I choose to sit in Row 2. I don't sit in any exit rows on other cabins. In widebody J cabins, there is no exit row, so can sit in Row 1 if I want to.

I'm still willing but no longer able, so I don't sit in exit seat rows anymore...

SQ have opened a lounge inside the Plaza Premium Lounge in the MTB at KUL. It's a separate section only for SQ passengers but the food and beverages are from the main section of the Plaza Premium Lounge.

Yes, I've factored that in, as I'm planning a number of J flights under the old system to be booked before the change in April next year. My aim is to book enough flights (if I can plan that far in advance) to retain WP for the year to Feb 2026 (which means I'll have WP until at least Feb 2027)...

Got my numbers today and I'm about 72% of the way to FG. I've maxed out the 3000 non VA flights (which surprised me) and had less than I thought on VA flights. Might take me another 4 years at my current rate of travel to reach FG.
