This is appalling. This is what will finally push me over to BAEC. I was willing to stick with QFF just a bit longer even after reaching LTG but I use MH too often to let this pass.

Was in the MEL lounge yesterday afternoon. Hot food options were the soup and sausage rolls. There was also a chicken wrap and the salads, of course. A decent selection of food. And Premium exit was open as well!

Got notified that my new passport was delivered today! All up it has taken 8 weeks and 1 day.

I'm way under 6' and even I find those bulkhead seats too restrictive, as I like to stretch out my legs.

Same for me. Have never lost my Economy X seat when bidding for an upgrade. I wonder if status has any influence. I'm WP and my Econ X should stick no matter, as I'm not buying up into it, and that Econ X seat was my original seat selection.

And I just got a text and email telling me my new passport is being sent to me via registered mail! Finally!! Here's hoping I get it by the end of the week! 🤞

I got a reply to my email from last night that said something similar where my passport is in the queue for printing and that it should be sent out in 2 business working days. If it isn't, then I am to reply to their email or try calling them. Talk about cutting it close!

I did that a week ago and still no response and I'm now over 7 weeks since I lodged my passport renewal. This is seriously p*ssing me off now when people are getting their passports back in less than 2 weeks!

It's this kind of inconsistency that's really sh*ting me!

I'm pretty much in the same boat. Tomorrow makes it 7 weeks since I lodged the renewal application and that will leave me 3 weeks until I'm meant to leave. I wonder what will happen and what recourse there is if I can't fly because my passport didn't come back in time?

There really should be a way of making contact to find out the status of a passport application or renewal if you've been waiting longer than 6 weeks. It's fair if you're trying to chase them up before 6 weeks, as they've already said upfront that it could take up to 6 weeks, and you can't...

I'm hearing from friends and work colleagues that passport renewals are taking up to 8 weeks now! I have 4 weeks to go before my overseas trip but would ideally like to have my new passport at least 2 weeks before so I can do all the necessary documentation for vaccination certificates and entry...

OK...I did not see this coming! Interesting that this is happening and, at the same time, MH announce daily direct flights to DOH, which will most likely result in a partnership with QR covering lots of European destinations.

Unfortunately, not a route I travel often. I finally worked out that the amount was just one way, which is why it was so odd. And even weirder because I didnt buy 2 one-ways. It was a return ticket. Anyway, the other credit voucher arrived after a few hours.
