    eSims, what is your experience.

I don't have one, but have you tried installing the Eskimo app? It'll soon tell you if it's supported or not.

Received a useless reply overnight. They can't find an Airalo account associated with my email address (well duh, I don't have one) so they've asked for the email address that is, or my eSIM ICCID. Failing that, a copy of my order receipt. I responded that I was asking on someone else's behalf...

    New Amex statement credits

Convoluted alright. As an ACT resident, I can probably make it work in my favour by getting fuel at Jerrabomberra if I happen to be in that area at the time and have room in the tank for at least 36 litres (based on current prices and discounts available)..... twice. There is one ACT location...

    eSims, what is your experience.

I did another search, but still couldn't find any mention of it, so I've since used Airalo's Contact Us form to put the question to them directly. If I get an answer, I'll post it here. Meanwhile, you could jump on the free Eskimo eSIM offer, as mentioned a couple of pages ago, which will get...

I don't know if that sort of billing is still around either, which is why I did a search re Airalo, but didn't find any mention of it. IIRC, Optus Pre-Paid Broadband used to be one of the worst, with a minimum data session of 10MB! Maybe. Try it and see what difference it makes, if any.

What's Airalo's minimum data session? I did a bit of a search, but couldn't find it mentioned anywhere. If the minimum data session is relatively high, and you have lots of relatively small data sessions, that would explain it.

Are credit Card Programs Still worth it?

None of the four options given quite fit my situation. I've given up actively chasing points, and whatever I get on my Citibank Premier fee-free for life card is just a small bonus. Spend that's likely to attract an international transaction fee goes on my Bankwest Platinum Zero card; no points...

Changes to how you use your $450 Travel Credit

I've since used the Travel Credit for the last time, and downgraded from the Explorer to the (no annual fee) Essential. If it wasn't for still having 300,000 or so MR points that I still haven't found a good use for, I would've just cancelled it completely.

My wife is involved with a program called, "Reading With Dogs". I call this, "Shaving With Cats".....

Discussion on Cats, Moggies and Felines in general [with Pictures]

We have a feeder that is programmed to open only when it senses Bailey's microchip. At 17 years old (and having had a few bowel operations), he tends to graze, eating a little several times throughout the day (and night). If we didn't use this feeder then the other five cats would make short...

I took this photo of Gracie a few months ago, but I've only just got around to syncing it with my computer and resizing it. Silly me; I neglected to look to see what she was trying to get a better look at.

    A bit of humour

Not that long ago, Mrs 2905 made a slip of the tongue and said (in a group setting), "Correct me if I'm right". I should've just shutup.

Changes to how you use your $450 Travel Credit

I have for something a bit under, just to use the damn thing before it lapses. One of my pet peeves about Amex Travel is that there's a hotel that we stay at semi-regularly that either shows no availability (when there is on the hotel's site) or limited room options (when there are more on the...

Changes to how you use your $450 Travel Credit

Got the same e-mail for my only Amex card, the Explorer, this morning. I was already leaning towards downgrading it to the Essential card once I'd found something worth using the TC on, and this only strengthens my resolve.

Australian Airports you have landed at or taken off from.

Not many for me, but I haven't seen COJ (Coonabarabran, NSW) mentioned yet. I did a few SYD <> COJ trips in the mid 1980's. From memory, they were 8 or 9-seater milk runs via DGE (Mudgee). On one trip I was the only passenger continuing on to COJ and the pilot invited me to sit up the front and...

How can/should I use my Expiring Miles?

Aren't they being kicked down the road for a further six months, one last time? From their web site, when I'm logged in and looking at my points..... Complimentary extension of expiring KrisFlyer miles Miles expiring between January and June 2023 will be automatically extended at the end of...

On the subject of eggs, why is it that you have to pay for Range Eggs, even though it clearly says that they are Free?
