Brunch yesterday MEL-SYD. Had the vege tart(other option was the ubitiqous Cajun sandwich). Really tasty, smashed down a couple of sparkling wines. Short sharp shiny usual Virgin-standards service.

The soups are pretty good but the coffee is inferior to MEL/ADL I've noticed

9AM in the MEL lounge. Pretty quiet, but premium exit is once again open

I really don't see the problem in what I see as fun and relatable

The side effect of only one flight a day, means customers, like me, are reluctant to jump across to them

doesn't help that they appear to be slashing schedules

from my experience it opens over lunchtime peaks, and that appears to be all not permanently open as of yet

Flew QF J (usually a VA J customer) for the first time Sunday BNE-ADL. Impressions(compared to VA): superior hard product to VA, but that's where it ended. Catering seemed roughly equivalent to the VA offering; however no PDB, and no drink/etc offerings after meal service, I found underwhelming.

Booking still exists, albeit with Change/Cancel greyed out(the original reason why I had to ring to cancel instead of doing it online) ...well that's great... Disappointing how my experiences cancelling with JQ/VA have been so much better over the years

tad strange question, how long after cancelling a flight with QF's call centre are you likely to receive a cancellation confirmation email?
