Just watched that clip. I'm a lawyer but, god, some aspects of the legal industry make me sick.

Virgin Australia Business Class - Meals, Menus & Service

Excellent service and meals/drinks on both sectors of my recent SYD-NAN-SYD. Beef with black bean and rice, and the butter chicken with rice were both nice, and a small entree, cake and cheese/crackers also provided. Lots of beverages! Blanket/pillow provided on both sectors and a nice...

A slightly Sarcastic review of Icon of The Seas.

What a miserable, entitled, whinging, mildly racist, intolerant bigot that writer is. But, to be fair, he is writing for the hard-Left Atlantic, so that goes with the territory.

Qantas A380 reliability issues creeping up again?

Qantas doesn't care and won't care because pax still keep coming back to Qantas to spend their (or their employers') hard-earned. Even well-informed pax who have been subjected to multiple IRROPs stay loyal to Qantas.

Article: Is Airline Status Worthwhile If Flying Business Class?

That's the best thing about QF status: flying on other airlines. The celebrations when QF announced the Finnair wet leases were very instructive.

    Qantas domestic economy meals

Had the veg pizza SYD-BNE last Sat night, was quite nice although very difficult and messy to extract from the cardboard box. Plane was only 25% full so the flight attendants came around with a second serve of the pizza. Also managed to down three bottles of red wine. For a second there, I...

Article: Is Airline Status Worthwhile If Flying Business Class?

This thread is about flying J, so your answer is of course different. Being VA WP, it's pretty easy to maintain it by flying a couple of international trips with VA partners in J, I just have to fly some dom sectors (or up to Fiji) with VA to maintain WP, but status is basically just...

    SQ Tips, Trips and Tales

Either transfer to Velocity or use them on Y class flights as there is usually very easy-to-find redemption opportunities (if you can cope with Y).

What happens if you tick “yes” to respiratory symptoms when you check in?

Good point. I have never tested positive for covid. I may well have been in the @RichardMEL category of having had asymptomatic covid at one point or another.

What happens if you tick “yes” to respiratory symptoms when you check in?

To clarify, I wasn't laughing at you for wearing masks (I was being ironic about n=1 studies proving anything). But, to be honest, I have been known to laugh at people driving alone in their cars while wearing masks.

    Made any travel mistakes lately?

Yes, that that goes close to Israel between Iran and Israel, and Iran is lobbing missiles into Israel from time to time.

What happens if you tick “yes” to respiratory symptoms when you check in?

In my n=1 study, I have worn masks the absolute minimum (and very poorly when forced to), and have not have covid or the flu or a bad cold for at least 10 years.

Left Qantas FF and Haven't Looked Back

Well, as soon as you get to VFF SG (which will be soon, from the sounds of it), you can enjoy the lovely (but sometimes very busy) SQ lounges including the free booze!

Left Qantas FF and Haven't Looked Back

Nice try. As a VFF, there are many excellent options to fly to London, including SQ, QR, EY, NH and UA. All offer better products than Qantas, and usually at lower prices.
