Hired a car in Italy 2019 and read prior to travel IDP is a legal requirement, it was requested at time of rental, "No IDP No car". Recently hired in 2022 USA and Canada without need of an IDP.

Success with entry to LAX Flounge with only 1360SC’s & QF J boarding pass as Gold. Lounge angle was suggesting the business lounge but relented accepting our incoming Alaska J flight earning us both Platinum. Lounge was not busy on a Sunday night.

I have also experienced these alerts from various airlines. Seems flight alert queue is independent of reservation and can remain active after res is cancelled.

Nice one @blackcat20, wishing you happy holidays. Oak Park with the Frank Lloyd Wright home are also delightful suburbs. We had family living closer to The Loop, great for restaurants but no lush gardens.

My partner entered the USA two days ago. Required the US Attestation online form attached to the QF booking and the Int. Vac's Cert. Creeping closer to pre-covid travel norms.

That is the most likely outcome @serfty. I’m sadly preparing ourselves. Our USA travel earlier this year saw AS not credit SC requiring a claim to QF, unlike AA who generally post during flight. I am hoping (not expecting) a glimmer of lounge angle good will at TBIT F.

Thank you all for the advice. T4 Flagship is an option I had not considered @Princess Fiona. I was hoping a lovely lounge angle may consider a BP as proof of earned status, so let’s hope status ticks over @MEL_Traveller. Returning to Oz September so we’ll see what’s open by then.
