also haven't got my card yet but got a letter in the mail saying it had been approved and would come within a week that letter was yesterday - just looked at my plat charge "membership rewards points history" breakdown to see my $400 explorer credit has been added to that! not sure what that...

I reckon the dropping of the a380 is a big loss for avid R award fans. We were planning R syd-jfk and back lax-syd. The extra stop doesn't matter when flying R! Now might have to go back to jfk to catch the inbound on R. And more competition for those seats now as well

well done on getting that SQ flight -- thought they were gone for the forseeable future. there was a time when screenshots were first being used when flights like ADL-SIN-CTS SQ-TG showed to give the option of just asking for the ADL-SIN sector but even that's gone now AFAIK
