re: Strategy to get "Early" JQ check-in for International Provided you aren't checking in baggage there is no reason for you to be turned away. *Technically* you can check in up to 48hrs before hand at the airport, but good luck convincing the JQ staff to do that...

Completely agree, I got to gate 6 and eventually found the priority boarding queue, only to find the queue isn't quite lined up properly, leaving me behind 15 "regular travellers" Oh well, that's the second (It still kinda worked, 90%) priority boarding fail I've had in two years and 200 flights.

Can I also add I had a major incident in the lounge today. The moisturiser in the lounge caused my hands to be slippery, rendering me unable to open the mentos packet upon leaving the lounge. I suggest either a "WARNING" sign next to the lovely Grown moisturiser, or a full time employee...

*Bump* Is it me or do Virgin not seem to be using the lower number gates anymore? Last two trips I've arrived/departed from Gate 6. This has resulted in my requiring to undertake a walk of AT LEAST 100m, not to mention weaving through the bogans. Not to mention no sign of a escort service...

I'm in the OOL Lounge now for DJ726 Is it me or are Virgin planes pulling up at gates 5/6 lately? I know it's a first world problem but once I'm full of food I'd much rather have to only walk to the closer gates of 2 and 3.

Every time I see a JQ 330 taxi past I can't help but feel there's at least 10 boozed up AFF'ers onboard.
