Unable to find my seat selection on QF website

Thank you so much - as I said before, I do know our seat numbers. Maybe I just like to "have control" over my booking lol. I'll send you the details as I'd like to try for bulkhead seats if they are available. Thanks again Alan

Unable to find my seat selection on QF website

We are now well inside t-80, and still only getting the window/aisle option. Guess we just keep checking back.

    Interesting experience flying AA.

They were there at take off, and the FA sat in a jump seat right next to the seats with gear under them. I understand that this is the state of the nation over here - it just makes me realise how good we have it at home. Even JQ are better than this. Alan

    Interesting experience flying AA.

I've just arrived in LA after a 3 hour flight from Dallas on AA. I have nothing good to sat about the cabin crew - they were disinterested to the point of being rude. We left at 11am and flew over the "lunchtime"period - our snak was a can of coke! We were also in an exit row and the woman next...

Unable to find my seat selection on QF website

This gets more interesting by the day. We are both SG. The booking was made by a travel agent in Adelaide. I was able to select our seats adl-mel and mel-lax without any issues, then we got upgraded on both flights to J, and again, I was able to select our seats inside T-80. My travel agent...

Unable to find my seat selection on QF website

We are booked on QF94 on July 22 and when I try to preselect our seats, I get the option of window or aisle. Its been like that for 2 weeks. We came over on QF93 which was a Dreamliner, and I thought we were going back on the same aircraft, but could it be that we will be on a 380 instead, and...

Qantas Upgrades - Successes or Failures (post results)

Just scored a nice upgrade - QF690 Adl-Mel and QF93 Mel-Lax - upgraded to J on both and now in 1K and 2K for the 787 flight to LAX. To say that the Flygirl is impressed is an understatement!!!! Now to work out how to make the most of it!

    The C word, R U OK?

I'm starting to have trouble holding it together. I have staff telling me we are getting $100,000 from the government (we have 5 staff!!!), I have customers calling to see if we are still open (we are), I'm trying to find out what support are getting from the feds (can't get any detail) and my...

    The C word, R U OK?

The news yesterday about the banks offering to defer loans for 6 months was very welcome. Our landlord has already called us and said if we have any problems, we can sort it out later. Our photo business is showing no signs of any ill effects, in fact, sales are increasing at the moment!!! By...

Qantas extends current status Until at least March 2021

I just got the email, and it was my cancelled trip to LAX on Friday which was going to keep me gold. Very happy with the Qantas offer and very interested in the additional way to get status credits. Thanks Qantas.

    The C word, R U OK?

RG1 - you are not alone, and I'm not OK either. I've gotten over cancelling my US trip - it was a reward to me for a long year. As a small business owner, who employs 5 staff, I am somewhat terrified at what is coming. Yesterday, my wife, who does corporate training for local government and at 2...

Have you had to change/cancel travel due to COVID-19 (involuntarily or voluntarily)?

I now have a $4000 travel credit with Qantas - hopefully they will be around in 6 to 8 months for me to redeem it! I have to say I feel incredibly sorry for the crews on these diminishing services, as well as their call center staff, no matter where they are. Just another positive for...

Hope you enjoy your 2 weeks together in "self isolation"!

Have you had to change/cancel travel due to COVID-19 (involuntarily or voluntarily)?

So, if one has to do 2 weeks of "self isolation", how will it work. If I live in Adelaide, and fly into Melbourne coming home, do I "self isolate" in my city of entry, or do I go home to Adelaide, and then do it. And who checks that I'm doing it??? Yes, I know I'm doing this for the good of my...

I'm with Travelmore, so will call them tomorrow. Not getting my hopes up.

Have you had to change/cancel travel due to COVID-19 (involuntarily or voluntarily)?

2 weeks of self isolation for EVERYONE flying into Australia! As a small business owner, I can't afford staff for an extra 2 weeks after I come home from a week away, so I guess I now blow my refund when I cancel my trip. As my trip was booked in January before all this polava, I'll try my...

Have you had to change/cancel travel due to COVID-19 (involuntarily or voluntarily)?

I have a colleague who is travelling to the US for a family reunion on the 24th with Qantas. He has been told by his TA that the cancellation fee is $750, which is about 20% of his total fare. He is livid and threatening all sorts of action, especially as the Smartraveller advice is don't...

However, this from Smart Traveler We now advise all Australians to reconsider your need for overseas travel at this time. Regardless of your destination, age or health, if your overseas travel is not essential, consider carefully whether now is the right time.
