Sorry I thought I'd clarify. I'll be travelling without any checked bags. I was hoping to check in online on SQ - and use the print-out boarding pass to get through to transit. But I shall find out next week and report back!

Hi everyone, I'll be flying BNE-DPS (VA) and then DPS-SIN (SQ) on two separate tickets. I'll have a 6 hour layover in DPS. Is there any chance of me avoiding having to buy an entry visa into Bali? Or will I have to exit, and check-in again (SQ)? I'll be travelling HLO (if that helps)

Same here! Arriving last night in TSV on a full flight (first time I've seen J full as well) - my box came out literally second! That, combined with the friendly crew, good priority boarding and solid lounge, my move over to VA seems to be paying off!

Also keep in mind that you get a 15% discount booking SQ flights online with krisflyer - so SYD/AKL-SIN/HKG in F would be 63750miles one way.

On the VA website - it appears that flying on EY will get you full Y SCs. No where on the table does it mention discount economy. Is this correct? Than you and Kindest Regards!
