Thats a luxurious Wenlock Ferry...in the late 80's it was just tree trunks and fencing wire. A standard Toyota nearly sank it. Crocs were not a problem back then either

It's definitely a bit dated now. I think some of the rooms are a bit flasher for the VIPs...no offense JohnM! Some celebs still visit but more are opting for secluded private houses now.

I didnt know it had been renamed...it was always The James Cook Museum to us. Cooktown and the museum got a big spruce up ready for the 250th Anniversary in 2020...but we know how that turned out.

It used to be called relaxing...no phones or devices to annoy you. If there was nobody interested in chatting you didnt have much other choice on LCC a few years ago. Also most of the world would class a 4 hour flight as long, or international. I can do either raw dog or cooked cat....
