I got my first statement today and it shows a few hundred Telstra transactions but then Qantas points earned on balances 0, Qantas points earned on transactions 0, Qantas points adjusted 0, Qantas points credited to Frequent Flyer account 0. Is this normal for the first month?

so has anyone claimed on the insurance since it moved to Allianz?

It seems to imply that if you pay any amount using a card, your bill will have 1% + gst added to it - regardless of how many transactions you do. It isn't 1% of the 1 cent it is 1% of the bill. However, I'm not currently paying this for my automatic payment of the full bill using Amex.

just got my card and I'm going to try some transactions. I notice that it is going to charge me the 1% surcharge for using the card. I have checked my past few bills and I don't seem to be getting charged for the credit card fee on my automatic payment plan. Is this a new thing? Just failed...

where can we give them feedback? Just did another shop where absolutely nothing back in rewards dollars. Did get some good beer deals at BWS though :)

has anyone activated their commbank insurance recently? When I click Assess now on pre-existing conditions it loads but then I get an error "An error has occurred. Please try again or contact us for assistance." and I can't then do anything.

I did not get approved so guess I have reached my credit limit or they don't like my other recent applications.

how are people going with approvals? I'm thinking about cancelling a few cards and having a go.

I found it took 2-3 days for the "Welcome" offers to appear with my card. Give it a few days..

$7501 paid on my ANZ last night. Mrs. Shik approved for ANZ this morning.

Just received my ANZ Black so looks like I've got an easy way to spend the $7,500. Almost time to send the Woolworths card to the scissors.

just had mine turn up in the mail. Did not get an email saying approved so thought I might have been rejected. I'm not an existing customer so have to go into a branch to do the ID check :(

Deal is now 20k for referrer and 80k for the referee.
