Anyone tried booking MASA ex ports that normally has "show-up-at-our-office-with-your-CC" requirement (e.g. CGK or BKK) before? How does it work?

Called in to check on my not-yet-ticketed JASA. Was advised that it takes longer for these ASAs to be ticketed (as opposed to ~one hour quoted yesterday). :shock: As a comparison, I made another paid booking online yesterday which gets ticketed in 10 minutes. Very simple, and fair.

Anyone has problem getting the MASAs ticketed? Mine hasn't ticketed since yesterday (was told it should take an hour). Happens last time I booked a MASA too few months ago :(

I believe it's mandatory to have a guide with you if you're climbing Mt. Gower. There are though multiple other walking tracks that are less demanding and can be done alone. E.g. the walk up to Kim's lookout (in a loop) also have beautiful views. Last time I looked, the availability is not too...

I haven't required nor done any MASA nor DSC to re-qualify this last year. I regularly fly J in QF and OW partners for work, and discount Y for holidays. I have also been having trouble redeeming the QFF points from all those travels, either the redemption is not available on the dates I wanted...

I'll be cynical and assume that well, they won't know, will default to cough earning, and will make it hard for people to claim "ticket is booked before such a date". Then expect people to not care much and voila they saved some miles.

Last time when I flew in premium cabin, they still check my boarding pass prior to the meal service :D

I would've thought crew without name badge and being rude is not acceptable. People should at least complain about bad service, not let it slip.

Re: Super Cheap Air Asia Premium Deal It was not only out of SYD, it was valid for PER, MEL, OOL, ADL. And it also worked for other AAX destinations e.g. China and Japan, for economy seats, and including the Easter high season. I estimated they would've lost at least a million dollars in this...

I just tried a few dates in April and May and it seems that the only Qantas flights that shows up was north of 5000BRL (~2500$). It was way cheaper yesterday when I checked... anyone noticed the same?

I wouldn't say it's world's best. They may have a good system, but the content is quite poor and limited, hence uninteresting. I couldn't even get enough entertainment for my return flight to LAX (~20hrs). Compared to CX and SQ in J, not even close (I spent 40+ hours in CX J couple of months...

In the past 5-6 occasions I have always got the arrival EP at Sydney F checkin. I then always have been given another one on the flight back, during the usual WP greeting (always happened).

Another call later, this has been fixed. So, yes, there should not be 5000 classic cancellation fee for JASAs.
