The gall. The message reads as though Qantas always loads cheap, discounted fares, even during peak periods and it's simply a case of the passenger being too slow of the mark. The response doesn't even address the question. Pathetic.

Isn't there a difference between what tomlee1986 said and the stats? I don't think the member was suggesting that five planeloads of Hong Kongers are migrating every day to the UK.

While these fares aren't bad for Qantas, they're a long way from meeting the intent of this thread.

I would absolutely try arguing that these T&Cs apply, however, I think you'll be out of luck as the oneworld classic flight award is a different product. It's still worth a shot, though. That aside, it's not your fault you were permitted to make changes that allegedly aren't allowed. Qantas...

I'm a little disappointed with that headline from One Mile. It'd be more suited to View From the Wing, given it seems any membership is quite some time away. We're still waiting on Oman Air and how long ago was that announced?

If NZ flights are excluded, I would suggest "almost all" is almost certainly not accurate.

I'd say it's hard to believe there are numerous reports of agents setting up these requests the wrong way - except that would be a lie.
