I have that, even when I look at things, I just don't know what they are....eg.. today my headboard. Could not fathom out what the word was. It is awful from someone who is normally articulate. However I am getting used to it and just move on and sometimes with family, just point or say well...

Generally no insurance company that I have found will cover you for cancer. I have phoned many including referrals on this site. I now travel with insurance for everything else but my pre-existing is now a mile long! However I found that TID would cover me for Osteoporosis (side effect...

I almost thought bring back qantas economy...

Its a blooming hard journey (from someone who is on it but with a different cancer and still undergoing monthly treatment plus). At least you seem to have your sense of humour still and that is part of what keeps you going (as well as AFF :D). Those hospital stays are long and rather...

UK and Europe 4 month sojourn!

Loved the trip report. Sat down with a cup of coffee and devoured the trip report 😁 in one go. So pleased you have taken the time to share, it makes me want to revisit these towns and see things I did not see. Great you have the time to do it as well, not many people can have all those...

Never thought of that. Not sure he would go with it.... not want to cause trouble etc. I think all his years in the army probably probably both strengthed him and weakened him... in different ways obviously . He thought nothing of having to pull out the cannula but I think a lot about it and I...

Exactly. He showed the nurse his arm and she said he could remove it at home. I was shocked as is my neice who is a doctor at the same hospital. Not in ED though.
