I got the same when trying to link passes to flights after the expiry date. I had simply assumed (correctly I believe) that the passes still need to within date of flights. That was for a QF flight. Didn't even occur to me that Jetstar might be different.

Pretty sure that's not right. The expiry date of the pass needs to be NOT expired when the pass is used - i.e. the date of the flight. Both the flight and the expiry date needs to be within the expiry date.
