Missing leg LAX - HNL on OWA booking

I hadn't really looked hard, but for the date I am after (coincidentally the same as your VA expertflyer results - 26 July 2017) the AA website specifically states that "Economy MileSAAver Not Available". They only have Economy AAnytime or Business/First MileSAAver. That is probably why QF...

Missing leg LAX - HNL on OWA booking

Class is only defined as Economy. I'm not a member of Velocity. Even if I were, I have paid 140,000 points for the OWA round the world award flights, so I should get the LAX to HNL segment within that - not willing to spend more points for a segment that's supposed to be included. I'd rather...

Missing leg LAX - HNL on OWA booking

Thanks ozbeachbabe. Thing is, I can see award seats availability when going direct onto the AA site, but clearly AA don't release them to QF or OWA partner airlines. I've been down this path. Even when I am looking at available seats on the screen using AA miles/points during the phone call...

Missing leg LAX - HNL on OWA booking

Quick background: I finally have enough QFF points to book my family of 4 on a OneWorld award RTW trip next July 2017 all in Y (oh well, maybe next time in J or F!). All flights are booked aside from LAX to HNL. The award availability on this has never been possible from my prior year...

Citibank 70,000 QFF points $149 annual fee first year 0% BT for 6 months

Yes, you get reward points with Citi but they don't tranfer to QFF, and if you do link with QFF, you forfeit the current citi points you've got and they start the points again, transferring over automatiically to QFF.

Citibank 70,000 QFF points $149 annual fee first year 0% BT for 6 months

Yes, at the end of the min $3000 spend in the first 90 days, so I'd expect the first statement after that. Source: I rang and asked.

Oneworld Classic Flight Reward Discussion - The Definitive Thread

re: "oneworld" award (140K/280K/420K) Planning - The Definitive Thread As other have mentioned, you'd do the first part of the booking on line because you don't want to lose those choice seats by waiting for availability of the later, especially if booking business class, coz that is the most...

Oneworld Classic Flight Reward Discussion - The Definitive Thread

re: "oneworld" award (140K/280K/420K) Planning - The Definitive Thread Ahhh, that would explain it then. Particularly with a triple very! I must've gotten lucky, coz I booked HNL to SYD on QF4 for 4 pax, the last leg of the One World Award trip of a lifetime. Been saving up points for...

Oneworld Classic Flight Reward Discussion - The Definitive Thread

re: "oneworld" award (140K/280K/420K) Planning - The Definitive Thread Correct Pretty sure that's not right. The key thing is that the whole itinerary must be on 3 different OW airlines, one of them must be your home country airline. Doesn't matter what the first two legs are. That's my...

Oneworld Classic Flight Reward Discussion - The Definitive Thread

re: "oneworld" award (140K/280K/420K) Planning - The Definitive Thread Just wondering...I've been doing some test itinteraries on the multi-city and I can never get any AA flights whatsoever anywhere in USA. I specifically want to go LAX to HNL. Would this have anything to do with some AA...

    Bankwest Transaction account [General Discussion]

I wonder if our names, PANs etc associated with BankWest have been internally flagged with some kind of alert, message, warning or whatever in case we decide to open up an account with them again? As an aside, BW are running a Mastercard promo which gives 50,000 points for $2,500 spend, $160...

    Bankwest Transaction account [General Discussion]

Alas, it is game over for me too. Letter received today. Nice while it lasted tho! Do we know of an alternative saving account which earns points, either from the balance or transactions or both like this one was? I need to close my account by Sept 5 like most others here & looking for a...

Citibank 70,000 QFF points $149 annual fee first year 0% BT for 6 months

So I've answered my own question& also for avinashm - calling Citi was no good, they needed the primary card holder & Mrs Danster couldn't be bothered with that kind of rigmarole. So I looked up the fine print T & C of the website using the identical website URL I used to sign up & there is no...

Oneworld Classic Flight Reward Discussion - The Definitive Thread

re: "oneworld" award (140K/280K/420K) Planning - The Definitive Thread Bump. Dates are available shortly, but wondering if anyone might have an answer why I (nor QF staff) can't book AA award flights JFK to HNL?

Citibank 70,000 QFF points $149 annual fee first year 0% BT for 6 months

Same here. I applied earlier this month (July) for Mrs Danster and there didn't seem to be a min $3k spend. I even printed out the webpage & no mention of min spend, so seems to be pts on first spend. Would like clarification too, but methinks there may be 2 different offers just very similar...

re: "oneworld" award (140K/280K/420K) Planning - The Definitive Thread I wonder if those more experienced than me can assist...I am trying to do some preliminary trials to get an itinerary sorted for a family trip next July 2017. 4 x Y (140,000 points x 4). I understand I can't get seats...

I get that all the time. Except Mondays when my last payment was on Friday. I just manually click the "yes" to proceed. Then when the receipt number comes up, just press F5 to repeat n times.
