Thanks MT.
If I book 4 weeks out and then change the date to within 1 week within 24 hours(by phone) will they make me pay the extra tax of the earlier flight?
I'm new to UA...Is there a pattern to the amounts they charge for taxes?
From what I have seen(MEL-BKK) they charge $234....then $181...then $86 as you look out further. I want to book and leave within a couple of days but it seems like the taxes are the most expensive in that timeframe.
I just bought some points in this bonus sale. I have never used United before.....any issues with booking a ticket 48 hours out?
How fast is the award ticketing process?
Interesting, even with the 140% Lifemiles bonus United is cheaper for S.E.A with their current 100% bonus.
This would have been a no-brainer before LM jacked up their award redemption rates for us Aussies.
Guys are all the TG J flights MEL-BKK angled seating?? Is there any lay flat seating in J on the MEL-BKK route?
I remember from a while back there was supposed to be an A350 flying this route by now but it hasn't happened yet.
re: Avianca "Lifemiles" - Questions and Discussion
With the Aussie dollar higher this offer is better than the 150% offer I bought in October last year.
re: Avianca "Lifemiles" - Questions and Discussion
Just a mistake in the search engine.
All ANA J SYD-HND is showing availability in the F tab for 50k LM even though F does not exist on that route with ANA.
re: Avianca "Lifemiles" - Questions and Discussion
If you can see the mixed class booking on the search engine it can be booked but if you try and make your own mixed class routing you will most likely get this message :
I use a dual sim phone. One sim for the country I am travelling in and the other sim a prepaid telstra.
Never had a problem receiving sms and calls from AU when overseas.
Just got back from a trip. Booked the following for a total of 260,000 points and $AUD491 taxes.
SYD-BKK-KIX TG F (2 pax)(screenshot)
HND-SYD ANA J (1 pax)
NRT-BKK TG F (1 pax)
BKK-SYD TG F (1 pax)
