Have you considered crediting to BA instead of QF ? (Edited ) I send all my low earners for QFF to BAEC instead eg DOH to Europe .

In my experience BA restricts some Awards to their own FF program. As an example I redeemed Avios for CE flights at a brilliant redemption rate 20.8 cents per Avios. These awards weren’t available to book on either QF or AA

I flew on a 318K J Award in January this year and had a seat released on QF1 and QF12 at either end. Seats were requested in November from memory and did require manual review for both.

Physical LTG cards are definitely a thing. Shrek has one. He briefly dropped below Gold once he started crediting to BAEC and it was sent out to him. Now has Partner Platinum.

Both Gold at 2500 and comp platinum can be gifted to friends. This is much better than the previously family restricted recipient for Plat. Although if anyone is listening at QF would be great if we had the same as BA GGL which is one Gold (OWE) and two silver (OWS) to gift !!

I couldn’t find someone to give the Gold to this year so I took 50K points instead 😂

All P1 counters state the 2700 SC requirement on QF flight numbers. The total amount required is 3600 SC and you are 2120 short. It does not say how many of your earned SC so far are on QF flight numbers.

Just get a Plat charge card and save yourself the stress.

You can ask to be added to the list as a OW elite. Relatively new thing but the angels at the lounge should know how to do it. If you aren’t on the list then there is zero chance.
