Re: Receive 5,000 Bonus Points# & your first month cover complimentary when you purch I don't see why not. Don't ever be underinsured :D .... but it seems like a waste of time to just take up the offer just for the points and then cancel later. Zurich is the provider of the EziCover life...

AMEX + Passbook (Apple iOS 6 later iPhone devices only)

No its possible....The PayPal iPhone app does push notifications, alerting you to every transaction made. The Commbank iPhone app has passcode login and quick balance view without logging in etc....so its not an iPhone limitation on Amex. I think I.T. at Amex can do better. The Passbook only...

    Emirates Skyward Miles

mushez, if you are primarily transacting in $NZD I would just get an Amex card issued in NZ to save on foreign currency comm fees. Otherwise the Amex issued cards in Australia are good enough for all your $AUD purchases to earn Emirate Skyward Miles. Apart from earning points from your credit...

the only way i could think of to stop the annoying push notifications would be to turn your internet completely off.

AMEX + Passbook (Apple iOS 6 later iPhone devices only)

possible.....but I suspect that someone in the I.T. department is being lazy. if they cared to make things simpler, they would of incorporated the quick balance view and push notifications into the existing amex app.

Westpac $0 annual fee on 55 Day and 55 Day Platinum credit cards for life

The offers aren't so terrible. I would recommend the 55 Day Platinum Credit Card to a friend who hates paying fees who would like the complimentary platinum insurances such as the travel insurance and extended warranty and isn't so fussed on earning reward points.

Where can I find the daily AmEx foreign currency exchange rate for cards?

you can avoid the paypal exchange rates by choosing to pay in the foreign currency. Let whichever credit card you have linked on file to do the exchange rate instead. The rates are better on credit cards than paypal.
