Looks like a streamlining measure to channel redemptions into points+pay model, gift cards, and FF & partner transfers.

Don't know of anyone that has made a redemption for an actual product, who knows, maybe a fire sale on redemptions....

I've made merchandise reward for Kenwood tri-blade hand blender/wand.

It was quite a bargain at 14,841pts with delivery for something that would cost >$100 at the shops.
