SYD to SIN in 1st on BA16

Mrs FrustratedQP and I took this flight last December. Middle seats definitely the best. We were in row 3 IIRC. Managed to book in about 3 & 1/2 hrs before flight. Hope you or Mrs Swilk like champagne. We were served Laurent Perrier Grand Secal. Very nice indeed.

QF94 Turned Back - Burst Water Pipe

I think I'd be more worried about the quite rapid C of G change, I heard (on the TV admittedly) that it was about 2000 litres.

Qantas is changing, but what will never change is our commitment to rewarding ...

"Let me assure you, however, that these measures will not impact your Qantas Points balance or cause your Qantas Points to expire." I note that there is no mention regarding the value of the points!!!

Thanks MEL_traveller, I guess, they're either unavailable or they haven't been released yet. I appreciate your quick reply.

How do I book an Emirates award flight?

SWMBO and I are planning a trip from Sydney to London next year and want to travel in F using our QFF points. We want to stop off in Dubai for a few days. A quick look at the Qantas site reveals that it's relative easy to locate/book flights to Dubai on Qantas metal and from Dubai to London on...

Is this worth a phone call to Qantas?

Thank you everyone for your replies. When I looked last night, I didn't get the option to select seats. I looked again today and although it gave me the option to select seats, the only ones available were in 3A & 3F. I rang Qantas and a very pleasant lady (Trini or Triny) told me that the...

Is this worth a phone call to Qantas?

Last night a future flight of mine from MEL to SYD was changed from a 767 to 737. As I am only Silver I originally selected seats in row 4. My new flight in 'MY FLIGHTS/AMADEUS ' shows that I am still in row 4. Obviously row 4 is not J. Will this rectify itself or is it worth a phone call...

    Questions re BA16

Can anybody tell me whether BA give out pj's in First Class on the Syd to Sin leg? (SWMBO likes them) Also, does anybody have any recent experience in checking in for the BA16 flight, if so what was the earliest that you were able to check in? (was it BA or Qantas check in)

Complimentary upgrade to SG - pointless

That's possible too. I have more overall SCs during that period.

Complimentary upgrade to SG - pointless

I'm not so sure of this, I've just been comped, but SWMBO who has the exact forward bookings was not. I'm thinking it's because I am the one who books. ???

Access to Lounge flying Air Pacific

Given that I purchased a J ticket through the QF website with a QF number and at the time of purchasing said ticket one of the advertised benefits is lounge access, I will be pretty pi$$ed off if I am turned away from the J lounge. And as an aside this will be another example where my lifetime...

Can you elaborate? Do you know if this will be for status pax, J pax or both? I am flying J next March on a QF No.

    Official Qantas response please

I'm not going to argue with you anymore. I have never actually stated an opinion one way or another, I have only ever asked if there is a policy and if so what it is. I thank you for your contribution.

    Official Qantas response please

I'm not demanding anything. I just want to know what the policy is. Regarding the overhead locker space, the answer might be that 'generally' luggage should first be placed in the overhead locker above the seat where possible, then in the same class of travel and then what's available. Who...
