That's my question, A carryon which is fine for a 737 may not be for an ATR72

Velocity Lounge on arrival with luggage

Ahhhh yes. I need to clarify. I am flying SYD-TMW which means flying on an ATR72, which has smaller overhead bins. Although I am going only for 1 night, and will manage with a bag small enough to be carry-on on a 737, I am unsure if I'll have to check it in. Maybe I'll try to make it carry-on...

Velocity Lounge on arrival with luggage

Hi all. I have a work trip booked, and I will be going directly from arriving at Sydney airport to a sports game, without going home first. What I want to do is access the Sydney lounge on arrival (I'm Gold), to have something to eat and do some work emails, get changed into my soccer...

booking a codeshare leg for VFF SCs

I have a question about code share arrangements, and how they may be used in order to get Velocity SCs… or not. I want to fly from Stockholm to Reykjavik and back to Copenhagen. The airports are served by several airlines but none that are Velocity partners. However, SAS flies between them...

Getting from Syd to Kef return in J using Sq pts

What was the KF points requirement CPH-KEF? I'm doing ARN-KEF-CPH in Sept next year after flying SQ from Sydney to ARN and out of CPH back to Sydney. I'll need to book the leg to KEF separately later, it'd be interesting to see if I earn enough VFF points to convert to KF to do this.

Velocity points on Etihad and SingaporeAir

All online. We had the points sitting unused so far preferred that option. Its our once-in-a-decade-without-kids trip so nothing better to use the points on than this.

Velocity points on Etihad and SingaporeAir

Done!! We had just over 700,000 VFF points. Have now redeemed for 2 of us to fly Syd - Singapore -Stockholm and Copenhagen - Singapore - Sydney all in SQ business, in Sept 2020. We will then buy a flight Stockhol - Reykyavik-Copenhagen with SAS or Icelandair. No options there to earn any VFF...

Velocity points on Etihad and SingaporeAir

OK I understand, thanks. I'm looking at 2 x SQ J from Syd to any NW Europe city at the end of Sept 2020 return 2 weeks later in early Oct. I have just under 700k VFF points. Currently considering Stockholm, Copenhagen, Munich, or Amsterdam as we will be going onwards to Iceland and can connect...

Velocity points on Etihad and SingaporeAir

So does that mean it's best to book outbound on the date they become available then wait and book return separately on the date THEY become available?

Velocity points on Etihad and SingaporeAir

So do you have to wait for the return leg dates to become available before booking both outbound and return, or what?

    Latest Flybuys Offer

it's 200 extra Velocity points per 2,000 FB points redeemed, not just a gift of 200 FB points. So if you have say 30,000 FB points, you'd convert them to 16050 VFF points rather than the usual 13050.
