Absolutely agree. I have used SQ several times just for the daytime trip home. Of course overnight in J is fine but close to unbearable in Y.

Does anyone know why QF doesn't run any daytime flights from Asia back to Australia? I seem to vaguely recall there was a QF daytime flight from HKG to SYD many years ago. I have been on SQ day flights from SIN to SYD a few times and they seem to be pretty busy flights.
