Anyone claimed credit card delay insurance in Australia?

I have made two claims in 2015 using the Amex Platinum Edge card. One was for a 14 hour delay in a CX flight from HKG to TPE (horrendous experience thanks CX) and one was for lost luggage from SQ (flight SYD-SIN-MUC where the bag never left SYD). Both times was very good service from Ace Insurance, claims settled in both cases within 2 weeks and money deposited to my bank account. Pretty easy process, Ace have an online form which you fill in, attached receipts and then they contact via phone or email after that with any queries.
So I am pretty happy with the complimentary travel insurance so far - but I only do 2 overseas trips per year.

Spruce goose care to elaborate a little more? I have AMEX via Centurion I have used them but not for repatriation. Bags lost tick, sudden illness missed flights tick, and one broken laptop screen repaired due to damage in transit also tick.

Anyone for Australian airline delay in Australia?

Gday

Yep. I have a Virgin High Flyer Visa and in 2012 on our honeymoon the domestic Virgin flight was delayed for about 2 and a half days. Claimed prepaid accommodation costs and it was refunded minus excess by the insurance company(i think it's Zurich?). Also claimed prepaid scuba costs foregone due to ear issue on early dives and that was also refunded. It was relatively straightforward. I had all receipts etc.

Pele.
