Yep. First log in this morning about 8.30am went from black to gold with status and flights still showing from last year. Logged in again about 10am. Status and flights nada. But, when I achieved WP it was just as instant going from gold to black.

True. The US site gave us the 8.20am option on AA which fits better with our QF12 jaunt. I also booked AA Quito-Miami for much cheaper on the US site compared to .AU, and paying with Aus cc and Miami hotel address was no issues.

We booked a SS cruise a few days prior to this sale. Our TA is a Virtuoso agent and they offer better discounts off the RRP, so we got a discount off the original booking but this sale was an extra $1,500 off. TA was able to change the booking to the new rate so we are very happy.
