yes, that certainly makes it unattractive for someone like myself much the time. Although with the current sale I looked at a few in the Greek islands and they would be good value even with a SS but the itineraries just didn’t appeal. They usually charge 100% extra for a solo traveller but usually offer a few at 25% extra. hardly any just now.
No. RCCL members would need to be Platinum or Emerald for 100 VS days. That’s still a fare few days at sea in higher end cabins. So those who have cruised on other RCCL cruises get stayus match to 100 days at a minimum meaning you get free laundry and premium champagne on boarding plus the 5% Venetian discount.
Ironically, RCCL offloaded Azamara and bought SS. I don’t know any of the background for either decision.Azamara have a zero extra for single passengers on at the moment and a fellow was able to change from a normal verandah suite to the owners suite at a lower price because of the no single supplement offer.
But it takes very few days on either RCCL or Celebrity to get there especially in higher end suites. On Silversea doesn't matter how much you spend you still have to sail with them 100 days.No. RCCL members would need to be Platinum or Emerald for 100 VS days. Relatively speaking, they’re not huge benefits at 100 VS (which begs the question why such a high bar?).But it takes very few days on either RCCL or Celebrity to get there especially in higher end suites. On Silversea doesn't matter how much you spend you still have to sail with them 100 days.
Someone on cruise critic was saying how they got the 100 days VS after only 13 days on celebrity.
But is that because the quality / service / inclusions have changed?Loyal SS pax are beginning to desert. Why even I this week have looked at Crystal, Azamara and Seabourn.
