The JL lounge staff won't know what a Qantas Club membership is. The Aspire Lounge staff will - that's the QF partner lounge at NRT and allows access for QC members on a QF flight number...

Sorry to say - acting dumb is extremely unlikely to work. The Qantas Club rules are pretty clear, and in this case your departure is on a JL flight number, and there is no Qantas operated lounge. If there is any country in the world that knows how to interpret and follow rules with precision...

Do you still have the tax invoice? You may need it to get Amex to process the credit. If you don't have it, you might be able to get a copy by calling Nomad and giving them the date/total transaction amount. (I'm sure they get this sort of request a fair bit with boozy business lunches..)

I think they probably dropped with the refreshed dining credits on 1 Jan. Nomad was definitely on the list just a few weeks prior to your meal - I visited in mid Nov. Did the bill appear on your statement like below as Nomad 16000 Surry Hills? (the credit came through the next day for me)

I've been impressed by the LHR Centurion lounge as well - I took a peek after a few hours in the CX F lounge. The F&B was much better than the QF lounge. It wasn't too busy while I was there either. I just wish there was some natural light, CX or EK is great for that. In any case LHR is miles...

You know what - I didn't even bother looking at QFF, just assumed it wasn't possible. But sure enough, it is doable through the QFF site.

Data point: Just booked CI J (TPE-SYD) for a family member using QFF points. Couldn't do seat selection on the CI website or app but was able to via the RJ website.

Unfortunately looks like Nomad (in both Sydney and Melbourne) has dropped out of the global dining credit list in the last couple of months. I'm pretty sure Firedoor has recently dropped off too.

1. Did a miss an annual fee increase? Isn't it $1450? 2. You can drop to a cheaper MR card, you'll only lose QFF transfers.

If you don't need to access anything in your bags, SQ should check them through to QF for you. I had no issue getting them to check through to CX on separate tickets a few months ago.

Call and ask if you can move to an A380 departure?
